I really enjoyed this, despite the its jankiness in some areas. It has lots and lots of charm and it's fun just to move and around kick things and dive and dash jump and all that. Got all the secrets too! Those were fun to collect.

The jank mostly has to do with little kinks in the moveset, like it'd be nice if I could kick right after vaulting instead of having to wait until after I start falling to do so, and also I seem to only be able to long jump to the right, trying to longjump to the left just causes the player character crouch in place. The levels could have used more of those glowing coin things too.

Despite this, it was a really fun time the whole way through. The graphics have a lot of charm and the animations for the player character are very dynamic and snappy, and I also love how the enemies that shoot at you will panic if you manage to get them to friendly fire each other. You did a phenomenal job with the movement, it's very fun to just breeze through the levels as quickly as possible by stringing all of the cool acrobatic moves together. Awesome job on this one!

This game was a TON of fun. I really liked the visuals as well as the enemy designs. The sound design was really funny too. Not to mention that the music was pretty good also. I only really had 2 problems with it, first of all I thought it was too short and I wanted more, but that's totally understandable because this is a jam game. Second of all, I felt some of the bosses' attacks were too difficult to dodge because of how big and chunky the player is, mostly in the later phases where they start to combine two attacks, but that could just be boiled down a to me having a skill issue. I hope this game gets a larger release with more levels eventually, I'd gladly buy it.

You guys totally nailed it, pretty much everything feels great, the controls, the graphics, even the music. Of course it's super cool seeing this run on the Pico-8 too! I don't really have any problems with it besides the fact it could really use checkpoints/a mid level save system. Bravo
